BATHGATE ELEMENTARY

 

It is with great excitement and honor that I welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year as I enter my fourth year as principal of Bathgate Elementary. I am thrilled o continue working in the extraordinary school community as we pursue our mission of providing a high-quality education experience for all students. 

 

Orange County has been my family's home for the past 17 years. Over the last two decades in education, I've had the privilege of serving as an elementary classroom teacher, response to Intervention teacher, site administrator of the after-school LEARNS program, and a middle school science and language arts teacher. I also served as an Assistant principal for four years. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction and a Master of Arts in Administration and Supervision. Education is not just my career-it's my passion. 

 

Bathgate is an exceptional school because of its dedicated staff, engaged students, supportive families, and strong sense of community. I believe every child deserves innovative and challenging education experiences in a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment. Together, we will ensure that each student receives the foundation they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world. 

 

Our theme is Better Together- a reminder that collaboration and connection make us stronger. I look forward to partnering with you throughout the year to support our students' growth and success. 

 

New families are invited to attend our campus tour on Wednesday August 13th at 1:00 pm. We can't wait to welcome all students back on the first day of school, Tuesday, August 19th. 

 

My door is always open, and I value your ideas, questions, and feedback. Let's make it a fantastic year because we truly are better together.
